ErgoSensorIA is a comprehensive solution that uses EMG (Surface Electromyography) to measure muscle activity, capturing data on postures, repetitive movements and their respective levels of musculoskeletal strain. This allows ergonomic risks to be detected before they become serious problems.
How does ErgoSensorIA work?
The process of using ErgoSensorIA is simple and efficient:
Studio Setup: Open the ErgoSensorIA module and create a new studio. Connect the sensors to the device and then pair to the tablet via Bluetooth. Place the sensors on the area of interest using a cuff or elastic tubular mesh.
- Calibration: From the tablet, configure the parameters of the video to be uploaded to the platform. Perform a calibration using the ‘maximum voluntary contraction/extension’ test to establish the limits of movement specific to each person.
- Data Capture: Record the person performing their work, capturing both video and numerical data. Upon completion, send everything to Sabentis for analysis.
- Analysis and Results: Return to the ErgoSensorIA module to review the created study. You will find all the numerical data and video ready on the platform, with detailed reports and specific action plans to improve ergonomic conditions.
